2. Information We Collect

We store only the information you voluntarily provide or that is essential to fulfilling your purchase:

• Account information: Email address and password (hashed with bcrypt) provided during registration, or Google account details (email, name, profile picture) if you sign in with Google.
• Purchase information: The products you bought, purchase timestamps, Stripe session IDs, and the amount paid. We do not see or store your card details, which are handled directly by Stripe.
• Download history: Which downloads you have generated and used, for fraud prevention and re-download eligibility.
• Usage data: Anonymous, aggregated traffic data via Google Analytics (pages visited, referrer, country, device type). No personal identifiers are sent to Google Analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Deliver the bots you purchased.
• Authenticate you and give you access to re-download from your dashboard.
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, download links, password setup).
• Comply with tax and accounting obligations.
• Detect and prevent fraud, including license redistribution.
• Improve the platform.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers within the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Database backups are encrypted and stored securely. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Credit card information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

5. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie for authentication (NextAuth session token) to maintain your login. We use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies for anonymous traffic measurement. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

6. Third Parties

We share limited data with the following service providers:

• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe handles all card data directly and is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant.
• Resend: Sending transactional emails (purchase confirmations, password setup).
• Google: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture. Google Analytics receives anonymous traffic data.
• Hosting infrastructure: Our VPS provider (EU-based) stores the database and application server logs.

7. Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data (subject to legal retention requirements for purchase records).
• Export your purchase history.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Object to processing of your personal data.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Data Retention

We retain account and purchase records for as long as your account is active, plus the period required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically 7 years in Estonia). Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' default settings (currently 14 months).

9. Children's Privacy

predtools is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Trading on prediction markets is restricted to adults in every jurisdiction we are aware of.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
